I am a secure, intelligent and independent person. I love animals (especially dogs) and children. I have a dry sense of humour and love to tease and be teased. I am athletic and enjoy golf, long walks, tennis, cycling as well as more passive activities including movies, theatre, and even good television, etc. Social time with close friends is preferred over parties. I also love to travel.

I am extremely honest (no games here!) and tend to think of others first before myself. Of course I'm not perfect in relationships but I do know how to take responsibility for my mistakes and “clean them up” so that a relationship can move onward and upward. I expect my partner to be able to do the same.

I believe that the essence and pleasure of relationship is in the small details—thoughtfulness, playfulness, and regular attention to the needs and desires of your partner. I enjoy the simple pleasures of life and am not seeking a partner that needs to be “on the go” all the time. With the right person I am just as happy to be at home making dinner as going out. I am emotionally strong but also hopelessly sentimental at times.

I am insatiably curious about people and life in general and love to talk about relationship, world issues, sports, work, or just about anything.
