I do a lot of traveling, so that's the first thing about me I want you to know. I own a bike, but its not a Harley (Maybe next year)........ I miss having one particular person to talk with. To relate to, and to think about the future with. With all my time on the road, I have learned to pass the time. Mostly by working late, working weekends, new restaurants, sight seeing, doing paperwork and reading books in the hotel room. When I am at home, I don't want to do anything alone. Movies, dinners, music, plays, concerts, whatever. There are lots of new restaurants in the Chicago area to try. And lots of bands to see. Wanna come with?
I stopped smoking again Nov '08 for the second time. First time was for 5 years. This time, who knows. So if you want me to lose the 18 pounds I gained since then, I may have to go back to smoking. Even exercise hasn't been able to stop it. Although, now holding at 184....
I've had a long couple paragraphs written here in the past, but it hasn't helped find the woman I'm looking for. In many cases on this site, it has come down to seeing the picture, reading a little about the person, and dropping a note to say hi.
And thats all you have to do, send a note to say Hi if you're just a bit interested. I'll do the rest.

short hikes for now, longer ones later. Just quit smoking 11 months ago

visit and ride through Europe and Ireland

Well, all done in Denver. Back to Chicago for the winter. I'm working in Oakbrook Terrace at the McDonalds campus for a month to come. Now is the time I start finding info for weekends away somewhere warm. South. Mmmmmmm. I like Nashville, need to see Memphis, Atlanta, the east coast from South Carolina down, and maybe back to New Orleans...... Sending emails is fine, but phone calls would make meeting easier, so let's give it a try.
By the first date, I would hope to know much more about you. Things we have in common, things you don't like, things you do. That would make the first date much more enjoyable.
First date? I would like to go to dinner. A good steak, seafood, something like that. Then move to the bar for a good conversation about ourselves. Maybe confess a couple faults, brag on a couple good things. And laugh about our own silliness. After that, I would be hoping for a second date.
And I need to mention again, I live NW of Chicago. don't want to confuse anyone on that fact.
