Anyone else tired of the 'process'? Tired of trying to deal with things no one should have to deal with?
I've decided that the best way is to 'put everything up front'.
I'm not buff, but i'm not a fat slob. I am *not* a redneck, but don't mind country girls. I drink a beer now & then, but never to get drunk. I don't smoke - anything. I am *not* '420 friendly'. I am NOT 'Mr. Fixit' but can do some repairs around the house. I have insecurities - we all do - get OVER it. I do *not* need to have constant texts, e-mails, phone calls to make sure i'm still interested in you - if that happens, I *won't* be. I do not dress to the nines very often at all. I *like* casual clothes - even ripped out jeans & t-shirts. I doubt, very seriously, that I'll ever get married again - however, long-term relationship is quite possible. I am *not* a vegetarian. I do *not* like habitual drinkers, smokers, drug takers, cheats, or liars. I am not into depression. I do like to watch some TV and movies. I ride a motorcycle - get OVER it. I am NOT clingy, nor do I appreciate it in anything other than my plastic wrap. I am sarcastic. I do not take life seriously (we're not getting out of it alive, anyway). I am intelligent. I do not wish to be a 'serial dater' or be with anyone who is. I have been hurt - we all have. If you want to live your life without ever being hurt again - why are you looking at personal ads? I don't want someone who has EVERYTHING in common with me, although some things would be nice. I can take a joke - can you? I am cynical. I am an optimist. I am a pessimist. I am an enigma. I enjoy county fairs. I enjoy hole-in-the-wall places to eat or grab a beer. I enjoy the beach & seafood. I hate self-centeredness. I want to live life to the fullest. I enjoy concerts. I enjoy country music & classic rock. I am not interested in grossly or moderately overweight people. I am not *better* than you, nor you better than I. I have friends - both male & female - which doesn't mean I'm sleeping with all of the females (or have, or want to). I think people get too worked up over Facebook & My-Space goings on. I swear. I don't have all of my hair - but what I have is definitely mine. I am not 'clean-cut', nor do I wish to be.
If you are depressed, or have extremely low self-esteem - keep moving - I cannot 'fix' you. Oh, and if you're over the age of 30, and u feel like u have 2 write like this 2 b hip & young - MOVE ON.
What this all boils down to (if you get through the sarcasm)is: I'm a 'normal', decent-looking guy with morals and values, who is looking for the same in a woman. I'm a fun person and don't need much to be happy.
Life is what you make of it, my friends...I'm trying to make mine better. I'm fine on my own, but now & then it's nice to have someone to share with. Good luck with your search. |
