.....what an eye opener!! I moved to Dallas from St. Louis at the end of May. As soon as I moved here I realized how big of a hole in the wall St. Louis really is. Living in Dallas makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. I am interested in meeting someone who enjoys attending sporting events, checking out new restaurants, going to music concerts, someone who enjoys picnics, and occasionally spending some time watching movies, sipping on a good bottle of wine.
I originally grew up in Europe, soccer is in the blood :) I play it, coach it and volunteer at various soccer camps. During the off season I mountain bike, rollerblade, and play softball. I am a dog person, I spend a fair amount of "dog time" in the park with my fiesty chihuahua named Beckham...how I got him is a crazy story worth saving for later.
I love to travel, especially places that offer good scuba diving or rich history. I love visiting Italy, France, England, and Germany. I lived in St. Louis for the past 19 years, however, a great new opportunity brought me permanently to Dallas.

Meeting someone in person is a lot more involved than reading their profile.
KEEP IT SIMPLE!!! I think that a quick lunch or a drink on a patio would be ideal. If the conversations flow....then continue on with the day/evening.
Save the picnics, dinners, and the "all evening" dates until you develop some sense of comfort, when bailing out in the middle won't be crossing your mind.
