Hi…My name is Joe.

I am single and have never been married. Why, you may ask?

Well, the first reason would probably be my Job. I drive a heavy truck for a living (don‘t run away yet, I am really not that bad). I get at least a day and a half off each week but I am not home every night like someone who has a normal job. This makes it difficult to meet people.

Another reason is that I tend to be a bit on the shy side. This has made it extremely difficult for any relationship gain traction. I am trying to break out of this particular curse.

Once I get to know people, I tend to joke around a lot. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and love a good joke.

My interests are pretty simple. I will sometimes go out and see a movie, though it would be nice if I had someone to do it with. I also try to go golfing from time to time. I am lousy at golf but it can be fun and is good exercise. I have a motorcycle I enjoy riding when the weather is cooperating. I also enjoy spending some time at home although that too gets kinda dull when there is nobody to share it with (an Xbox is no substitute for a good woman).

I rarely drink, have no interest in drugs or those who use them. I am not trying to be holier than thou here. They simply add a dynamic to a relationship that I don’t want to deal with.

So, what kind of woman am I looking for? Well, I am a guy and am therefore visually stimulated so there needs to be mutual attraction. This is not to say I am looking for someone with a model’s figure. After all, I am carrying a little extra baggage myself. However, I would be lying if I were to say physical attraction meant nothing. (Hint)…I am a sucker for a great smile.

Of course there needs to be some mutual interests as well. Someone with a sense of humor, especially if they enjoy a bit of sarcasm as that is my specialty. Someone who can laugh at themselves as much as they might laugh at me. Someone mentally stable would be a real big plus (there goes that sarcastic stuff again).

Anyway, I am open to everything from a casual relationship all the way up to marriage if sparks really fly. And if correspondence just results in friendship, that would be fine too. I could always use another friend.
