Yes, I know it says that "I am Seeking a Woman For Dating"! Ultimately, of course, I have dreams that this will lead me to the love of my life. But lets take one step at a time, okay? And Yes, I also know that starting sentences and paragraphs with 'I' makes one sound egotistic. Apparently I'm just not smart enough to write about myself without doing so. . .

An intelligent long-haired artist author actor entrepreneur, I returned to the Midwest from New York City after a 20-year stint working as an artist for Marvel Comics, etc. I love live music of all types (especially melodic metal like Blackmore's Rainbow, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, etc. but tastes stretch to Outkast & Eminem, freestyle, more).

I do like to joke around a bit and also have a very cynical sense of humor where politicians are concerned. I love SF and more cerebral horror fiction, discussing archaeology and origins, philosophies of accepted history and its manipulation through the inter activities of politicians, the church and new age/gnostic adversaries. I love discussions of Christianity, philosophy, politics and movies & books relating to all of the previous subjects and more- actually, discussing about anything but the advantages or disadvantages of one homemaking product over another (there was a Gallup poll on that subject that drove me crazy). It's okay if we disagree at times as long as we can work the practical things out without viciousness or spite!

My goal is to have my own business soon (don't want to go into details until it materializes but it will be unique) and I could use a partner at home, if not in my work. It will relate to a book I hope to have completed soon - subject matter currently top secret ;-)

I don't smoke, rarely drink except socially, and am a Christian with unfortunately nymphomaniac tendencies when in a committed relationship. What can I say. A wife should be a partner in public and wild and adventurous in bed.

I am conservative politically (surprised?- Well Libertarian actually) but you can be whatever you want as long as you don't mind some intense discussions! Be prepared to hold your own. A weak-minded woman may consider a discussion where we don't agree to be "arguing" and get frustrated. A strong minded woman will understand that we can intellectually disagree on issues and it is okay! If we are both logical thinkers our discussions should ultimately bring us closer together in thought but all of us are unique individuals and it is okay to differ at times.

My ideal woman can accept the above in a man and has a youthful personality with a positive attitude, preferably housed in a well-kept body not toooo out of shape (but a pretty face and the right personality will definitely overcome a few flaws). If you are (pop/rock) musically inclined, so much the better, but you must at least be tolerant of my love for some pretty intense stuff. I'll listen to your Blondie, Abba or Nelly if you'll put up with my Dio, Coverdale, Motorhead, Stranglers and 70s soul and country rock. I love young at heart women open to all "cultures" and ultimately desire a life-long relationship with a loving opinionated Christian (believe it or not) freak (if you know what I mean).

My ideal match will not be terrified by the preceding openness and wants someone open and understanding who understands that differences can be resolved if approached openly. She will tell me if I do something wrong, not just hold it inside and passive aggressively "get" me later for it. We will work things out together, usually calmly and articulately and IMMEDIATELY when possible. My ideal match makes up after a fight amorously and passionately. She doesn't hold grudges and understands that we are all human. It is unfortunately easiest to be hurt by the ones we love the most.

Keeping all of the above in mind, I also understand that we are all human and that the ideal woman doesn't really exist! Are we cool? ;-) Ah well, there's other guys on here with half a profile - you'll be married to them for a few years before you find out the bad stuff LOL

Hmm, despite the fact that I have an electric, an acoustic and a bass guitar I don't find much time to play - I usually have to tune at least the acoustic first... There's plenty more, but I've already exposed as much as I am comfortable with - and don't you want to discover some mysteries for yourself?
