| | I am divorced(3 years so not on the rebound) and re-entering the dating scene.
Man, is this hard trying to describe myself without sounding like a sales pitch or using trite sounding terms:-)
I lead a very active life with work and many hobbies* and am looking for someone to share part of my life with. Someone who likes to spend time together having a glass of wine/beer, talking, watching a movie, (If you share one or more of my hobbies, even better,) etc., but, has an active life of their own.
I have a very positive outlook on life and believe life is here to enjoy. I have a good sense of humor, though, a bit sarcastic I have been told :-) I am out-going and love meeting new people and talking, but, I also like to spend a lot of "me" time pursuing my hobbies.
I am not "looking" for a permanent relationship because I don't think that is something to really look for. if it clicks, it clicks, but, you will never know unless you try. Until then, I want to meet people and have some companionship and fun

For a first date I would prefer to meet for coffee/a glass of wine/lunch on a weekend or something similiar to see if we have a mutual interest in each other. The day can then continue from there if mutually agreeable. Go to a park, find a wine bar/quiet cafe, and talk. I like movies, but usually not on the first few dates as they are non-conducive to getting to know someone. |
