My name is Shanna. It rhymes with Banana.

(I REALLY wanted to use the dancing banana).
I'm a senior at Colorado College in CO Springs, with a major in Sociology and a minor in German. I just spent last semester in Germany, and had an AMAZING time.
I'm a bit quirky. I like making snow devils in my pjs, going to IHOP at 3am, eating dessert first, going to RHPS wearing nearly nothing, taking my friends to Fascinations, fighting for what I believe in, playing DDR, going out dancing, acting/directing/teching/usher/watching theatre, figure skating and playing hockey (plus watching the Tigers Hockey team)...pretty much everything.
I'm very liberal. I'm pro-choice. I volunteer with a sexual assault hotline and prevention group. I was a summer fellow at the ACLU this summer. I'm open minded, but call me a murderer because I believe in EC and the right to choose, and we just might not hit it off.
I like dying my hair when I get bored. I've gotten better. It's auburn fading into black (lesson learned - never dye your hair permanently black, it NEVER fades or comes out)...and will soon have red streaks in it. Better than getting a tatto when I get bored.
I LOVE to cook. I am a vegetarian, but I don't preach to others about it. I can't bake to save my life.
I have a hedgehog named Ambrose Spike. 10 points if you get the literary reference.
I also have an all black kitty named Kinsey (yes, as in Alfred P Kinsey - I do want to go to grad school for Human Sexual Education).
At my family home in Denver, I also have 2 kitties named Phoenix and Anastasia.
I am eclectic. I wear car ears one day, and a United Ramp Service shirt the next. I like dressing up sometimes, but I don't follow fashion, and would never wear many of the things that are currently 'in'.
My car's name is Titania. She's silver, and is good to me. That's really all I know about cars, other than I can check and fill my tires, and check and change my oil. And when lights come on, I take her for a check up.
My eyes change colors with my mood. I think that's awesome.
I have a geographic tongue.
Ok, if this didn't give you a decent idea of who I am...then...ummm...ask me more?
Let's see. Prolly start at a coffee shop downtown, to see if we were compatible. Then maybe off for a walk around the area, checking out fun shops, and what not. If we were inclined, grabbing a bite to eat/making a picnic/hitting up some quick place for some more coffee/tea/juice/drink of choice. I think first dates are the time for conversation in a low pressure manner, with plenty of oppertunities to decide that it's just not right. Maybe bowling...yes, bowling is fun. I like to bowl (though I am HORRIBLE at it!).
WARNING: At some point, I make most of my dates go to Fascinations with me. I figure that since I want to go to grad school for Human Sexual Behavior, it's a)good research and b)a good way to know whether or not he has a healthy attitude, is open minded, and hasn't been toooo ****ed up by our society.
