About Me
Online dating is fairly new to me. I have some mixed feelings about it but am willing to put myself out here to see what I come across... you never know.
I love all of the seasons and particularly like to spend time outdoors. I enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, and love to be near the water.
I would be interested in meeting goal oriented people. I am not looking for any particular profession... but more someone who works hard for what they want and has strong convictions in what they believe. We all have pasts but learning from our mistakes and making positive changes builds strong character...not everyone does this and I hold respect for the few who can.
Chemistry in a relationship is important to me and I believe it is something which is felt initially and develops more from that point on. Many people disagree with me on this point. I realize it takes time to develop a relationship but I am also a true romantic at heart.
This has been a year of self discovery for me, to say the least, and it has been quite the trip. I have not found my soulmate and I'm not even sure if one exists. I am in no hurry. Rather, I believe that any relationship can work if you want it to, whether it is with friends, family or lovers. Each relationship is what you put into it, always requiring work and effort on your part. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy or free. If your heart is in it and it is what you desire, you can attain happiness in any relationship. In the meantime, I have met some interesting people online, ran into a few players, made some friends, had some disappointments, and shared some laughs. I feel there is something you can learn from every experience and apply it to your life. By doing this, even the disappointments can become beneficial. I am always open to meeting people and making new friends. With that being said, if you would be interested in talking, drop me a line.
