Well, it's time for a rewrite. I began my profile like most of you out there. A few of my hopes, likes and dislikes. Then I rarely used the service. Then as I began to take time to read profiles I found that we are all the same and write the same ole stuff about long walks on the beach and a cup of coffee for a first date. I still have questions (imagine that). Why do people put someone on a Favorites List and never tell them that they are ON the Favorites List? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
Why are there so many beautiful women on here for so long? Are you looking for Mr. Perfect? Don't ask why I am here so long. I am not that attractive but you would think someone would like me by now. Regardless, it is hard to find someone local, I admit and the time I spent in 2007 driving wore my car out. And, if you put "must not have messaged for intimate contact" (I forget the verbiage), you might be missing out on talking / meeting a nice man who was a little curious, and not a pervert. Not that there's anything wrong with a good perversion. Anyway, I just had to change this profile. I love to learn about people. And, ya know something? There is more than one special person for everyone of us. I have had love, been loved and lost love .. we all have. Did we think that person was "the one"? Probably, so we don't exhaust our "one", we just find another. Love brings sorrow and joy, I guess we keep doing it for the same reason we put up with Michigan winter, because the summers are wonderful. I have had several comments that I look different in each photo. I want to go on the record to make sure that you know the black photo is my dog.
First Date
What would be fun on a first date? Well, going to France or Greece, or San Diego. That would be fun. What would be realistic? I dont' know, I spent so much money on dinners last summer that led to non-second dates that I had to take a second mortgage on the house. How about iced-tea?
I think a first date could be the beginning of wonder and a life-long journey to forever, or just a way to meet someone new.
Avoid the zoo, unless you're liking the birds I'm thinking ...
