I am not sure if it is the time off or the beautiful weather and sunshine, but I am loving life, loving these summer days! Feeling on an incredible high. :)
I am a person always looking to experience new surroundings, cultures and climates, whether oceans away or around the next block. I have lived in Europe and Japan and have had the great fortune of traveling to different parts of the world. The more I travel however, the more I realise how much there still is to see.
I am driven to maintain peace and balance in my life, where the career I love goes in tandem with a life of varied fulfillment and personal enjoyment.
I enjoy going out and reveling in this great city of ours, but equally like the quiet nights at home watching a good movie, listening to music with a nice glass of wine in hand. Whether stretching in a yoga class, camping, weekends out of the city, hanging out at the bookstore, walking the streets of Toronto, people-watching on a patio, spending time with family and friends, taking random photos, or going to a museum or an art exhibit, I love doing them all, and find even greater satisfaction when there is someone there to share and laugh with.
I am moved by little things every day. I learn and am inspired in different ways by the people I meet, the mistakes I make and the challenges I overcome. I am grateful for my life and the opportunities given to me.
This life is too short and so I have every intention of being open-minded, adventurous and honest with everyone and in everything. I value action more than words, and have no desire to beat around the bush.
I would like to meet someone who is in the same headspace; someone who will keep me up at night laughing; someone who will swim out in the waves with me to watch me make my first attempt on a surfboard; someone who will be a big fan but also an honest critic.
As I have said, this life is short but also extremely plentiful, and so I am here to find that person with whom I can share it.
