Hi! Thank-you for taking the time to read my profile. It's a little scary dipping my toe into the on-line dating pool but I've heard some good things about it so here I go. I'm not looking for anything too serious right now. Someone to go to dinner with, movies, walks or whatever. Friends first and we'll see where it goes from there.

First, a little about me, I've been very fortunate throughout my life, things have worked out very well for me. I've got two great children (a daughter 15 & a son 12), I have a wonderful supportive family, friends who are there for me and a career that challenges and rewards me continually. I'm an easy going, flexible kind of guy. I'm also considered very compassionate, generous, intelligent, caring and optimistic. It's been said that I'm a "salt of the earth" kind of guy. I enjoy watching and playing most sports. I particularly enjoy golf in the summer and curling in the winter, but I'm not a fanatic. I also enjoy traveling both throughout North America and the world. I'd love to travel more especially with a special companion.

What am I looking for in that special lady? That's a difficult question to answer. There would need to be a connection intellectually, emotionally and physically. We would share some interests, but there would be differences so that I could learn and grow with her. I guess that's why there is dating so that we can start out as friends and see if that special connection exists. I look forward to the journey and I know that there's a special lady out there for me.

I would enjoy just going out for a nice evenng on the town. Enjoy a wonderful meal on an outdoor patio on a beautiful day. We would then go for a nice walk, talking, laughing and just getting lost in each other. The hours would fly like minutes.
