Originally from upstate NY. I grew up on a dairy farm in the Valley. Most of my family still lives in NY. Ideally I would love to be able to spend some of my summer in NY and the rest of the year here in FL.

My children are adult. I have one graduating from high school.

I recently moved into a condo but realize I need more space out doors then a screened in Lanai. A few plants are not enough. I have always had a house on a quiet street with a fairly private back yard and now realize how much that was a part of my contentment.

I am impressed more by the way something appeals to my senses rather than the status quo, that it impresses upon others.

I like to go to dinner with family and friends, dancing, to the theater and to the movies but I prefer dinner at home or a barbecue or watching DVD's. I enjoy sitting out back by a fire with tiki torches and good conversation. I need equal amounts of quiet times and social times. I don't care for crowds like at festivals, concerts, or theme parks.

I like to have my hair brushed, my feet touched, my skin caressed. I enjoy being read to and love engaging in discussions on a multitude of subjects. I miss being with someone whom I fell comfortable enough to let my emotions show to.

Meet some place public where we can talk like a park, the beach or a café'. I prefer men who don't misrepresent themselves. Just be yourself. If it works out, then it does, if not then we were meant for someone else. I would rather stay single than waste years with the wrong partner.
