Hi. I am a very genuine, passionate woman who is looking for a genuine,wonderful man to hopefully embark on a our "last" and "lasting" relationship. I am looking for someone with whom we can love our similarities but also live with our differences and actually grow from them. I am a 2nd grade teacher, mom of two daughters, and previous marriage and family therapist. I am pretty passionate about everything I do, and I do get pleasure from the simple things in life (ie. sunsets, ocean waves, views from tops of mountains, etc.) but am not a simple person by any means. I am sensitive and deep, but not into drama. I like to solve problems as they arise by addressing them and working them through. I can be serious, but I also love to laugh and even laugh at my own jokes...I see humor in many things. I do want a best friend and a lover, and someone that I can share the ups, the downs and the in-betweens with. I am a communicator, and have learned to express myself without blaming. I love adventures and new destinations, and stimulating conversations. I am open and available emotionally for the right person. I keep myself very fit by walking regularly, and truly am petite, and love to wear a "little black number" with heels, but also love my jeans, too. I do stay very active, enjoying activities from concerts, to movies, dining out, dancing, exercising, boating. I am not a couch potato by any means, yet can relax with a good movie at home, or one or two favorite shows. I am always interested in learning more whether it is about finance, exercise, nutrition, politics, and self-help. I have been divorced six years, and have learned alot about myself and men in those years. Hopefully, all of that will be put to good use in the next relationship. A first date....Well, I guess it depends on how much we have talked. If we have a sense that we have enough in common and can carry on a good conversation, then dinner always lends itself to getting to know one another better. My favorite places are by the water, or where there is soft music. A first date is to see if we "click" and want to see one another again. That feeling that you cannot wait to see each other again is magical (I am such a romatic, that is true). If we feel that we really do not know one another well enough for that, then coffee or a drink is a good way to chat.
