About me????? I am a 41 year old widow. I just lost my husband of 20 years this past October to a motorcycle fatality accident. We shared two wonderfull boys now ages 20 & 11. I also have a beautiful step-daughter age 25 that is a RN and has given me two beautiful grand children.

I live in Montgomery out by Lake Conroe where I have lived for 30 years. I grew up here and went to school here as well. I was born in Houston and am proud to be a native Texan. I live out in the country and own my own land, home, vehicles and ATV's. I am not looking for a sugar daddy nor a daddy for my boys. I take care of my own.

Although I have been single less than a year, I hate it. What I miss most about being married is, having someone to come home to me each night. Having someone to hold and someone to hold me. I miss having that special someone in my life that I know is thinking about me as I am them. Someone to share my ups and downs with, to lean on through the good times and bad.

I have dated a couple times since my husbands death and have been asked, " Are you sure you are ready to date?" My answer is this, " The way I see it I have two choices in life. I can either set around crying and depressed, feeling sorry for myself. OR.... I can pull myself up by the boot straps and get on with my life. " I choose to do the later.

I am a very streight forward and honest person, probably to a fault. My friends often ask me, " Does anything go through your mind that doesn't come out your mouth? " and the answer is " NO." I always say exactly what I think. I do not put up a front to try to attract someone. The way I see it is why bother, it all comes out in the wash eventualy. I believe in putting all your cards on the table, take it or leave it. So with me, what you see is what you get. I am not a player and hope not to get played.

I am a very big hearted and compassionate person. I am low maintenance and enjoy the simplier things in life. I would say that I am a country girl, but can transform to a high society mentality as needed. I am most comfortable in a low cut shirt ( hee hee) and jeans, but can convert to an evening gown and be ready to hob-knob in high society with the best of them.

I enjoy 4wheeling, camping, fishing, going to casinos, flea markets, swimming, star gazing, museums, galaries, and just chilling by a camp fire, listening to music and throwing back a couple cold ones with friends.

I am intellegent, witty and self-confident but not conceeded or vain.I have an awesome sence of humor and will most likely keep you laughing. I am goal oriented and have a life plan. I have a large family RE: Mom, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews. We are all very close and I am very family oriented.

My two favorite sayings in life are, " What goes around, comes around" and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

First date????? Well I know that most say dinner, a movie, drinks.....blah blah blah. I say live a little. First off, I do not think that you can truely get to know someone in just 2 hrs. Sooooooo........... My ideal first date would be a day date. It would start at 8am. Lets meet by the lake and do a little fishing. We could set on the bank and share our views on life. By 11am it would be time to pack up and head out to grab lunch somewhere in the A/C..LOL... After lunch it would be time to raise a little hell on the 4wheelers. We would head off for an ATV adventure. I would take you out through the wooded trails and show you how a country girl can ride. AND...If I find you realy attractive I might even try to get you lost..(wink wink). After I have showed you up with my ATV stunts and skills, it would be time to head off to the pool to cool down a bit. By the time we leave the pool it would be beer-thirty. SOOOOOOOOOOO... we would head back to my place, where I would cook you a nice homecooked meal. I mean after all YOU did pay for lunch. I do like beer but actualy prefer a good glass of Merlot. Then after a nice candle lit dinner, we could retire to the back deck and set by the fire pit table. We could reminiss over the days events and gaze into the fire light. Once our meal had settled it would be time for a relaxing dip in the hot tub, to ease your muscles from the days adventures that you have shared with me. Then when we are done in the hot tub, it will be time for you to go back to wherever you came from...LOL... But hopefully while on your drive home, you will be thinking about what a wonderful time you had and already planning on when we can get together again. AND... If I found you intreaging as well, I would most likely text you before you got home just to tell you how AWESOME I think you are.

Now thats my idea of an awesome first date.....Whats yours?????
