Well, here goes. It's nearly impossible to fit anything close to my personality into a tiny profile discription. I'm the mom of a six-year-old boy. He's pretty much the most important person to me. But, I still take time for myself. A mother goes nuts, otherwise. I have a lot of things that interest me. To many to list here, really. But, chances are, somewhere in the vast lists of enjoyable activites, we'll have at least one or two things in common. Personality-wise, I've been told, by people that have just met me, that I am really fun and cool. I guess that's a pretty good place to start. I love music, in damn near any form. I can find art anywhere, in everyday life. So, when I'm not at work, or being Mom, I try to be painting, or doing something else artistic. I can find inspiration just about anywhere; walking in the woods, going to a concert, or browsing the library; these can all be artistic, if you're in the right frame of mind.
As for what else you need to know about me, I am a completely loyal friend. I have a heart made of glass, that I tend to wear on my sleeve. It's not the safest place to keep something so fragile, but the rewards sometimes outweigh the risks. Those that manage to not shatter my heart are the most awesome people I know. They are few, but more precious than gold.
I also have a pretty strong silly side. There's nothing I love more than to make someone smile. Bonus points if I can make you grin. And, if I can keep you laughing, even better. I'm serious when I have to be, and don't lie or play games. But, life has to have a fun side. :)
Who am I looking for? I'm not 100% sure, yet. But, are any of us 100% sure of anything? Nope. All I am really sure of, at this point, is that somewhere in this universe there is a woman that I will feel incredibly blessed to have met, and that will feel largely the same about meeting me. I'm looking for a friend, a lover, and everything in between. I know she's out there. I'm an optimist.
And, amazing as that seems, I do believe I have found her. I'm not looking for anything beyond friendship, as I am completely crazy about the sweetest girl I've ever met.
First Date
I'm flexible. But, mostly I just want to do something low key, relaxed, and able to allow a conversation. *gasp* I know, hard to believe. Heck, I'm not a typical woman, in any sense of the word, though. If it can't kill me, I'm game... at least once.
