I believe in the value of imagination,thinking, pondering, inquiring. I also believe in the value of work, of putting good ideas to the test. Music is, always has been, a constant companion. My listening/playing/singing tastes are varied (Chopin, Mozart, Mahler, Vaughn Williams, Krall,Hendrix, SRV, Zeppelin, Dave Matthews, Charlie Byrd, Philip Glass, Jack Johnson, Krauss, EmmyLou Harris,U2, Beethoven & the Bachs, to name a few), but I will listen to most anything once; more often, VERY often, if it heals me or stimulates my senses in a powerful way. I play organ & piano, and sing, most notably in the shower. I keep a current passport. It needs more stamps... meanwhile, I wander around in my RV, seeking out different places & experiences, usually fairly close to home, though I am ready for another long distance road trip. I like to catch fish & crabs, and can likely cook them better than you. :) I savor the feeling of water around me.
It's important, I think, to leave something more than take something in this life. I believe in family as essential to personal stability and learned social responsibility. I listen as well as I talk. I enjoy learning about other peoples' lives & interests. Should we meet, become friends, or (better still) more than friends, those things that interest you, that you see as important, I would honor.
I am someone who is content, with loyalty and affection toward those of importance to me. Then there is the occassional howling at the moon, talking to the dog and to myself, and never ever missing an opportunity to hug or be hugged.
If you know who Gary Larson is and can appreciate that kind of humor, we would definitely get along. As for any other attributes... my philosophy about that is this-- to learn what is in the book, one must read it, and not just peruse the cover....hence, the limitation of this kind of "meeting format".

How about we put our heads together and figure that out when the opportunity presents itself....
