I am trying hard not to say all the cliche things for which singles ads are so horribly notorious. I am interested in meeting a spirited, active, maybe-not-so-super-conventional woman. My basics are together; finances, homespot, work/life balance, and better than average communication skills. Had to figure some of it out over the years.

I am physically active and enjoy the outdoors (a lot) and regular, non-competitive moving of body and bones. Really into cycling, hiking, and learning about birds (of all things!). Can get a kick out of walking around Fisherman's Wharf, looking at interesting architecture. I like home too. Can cook some in the kitchen, but even more often on the backyard bque. Dive into veges, but mix in non-veges too. See lots of movies and lean toward off beat, indy, and prefer screenwriting well written. But then fall for the occasional dork movie like "Little Miss Sunshine" or "I Love You Man."

It would be great if you have attributes to compliment mine, but I am open to the supplement some new angles would bring to life at this time.

You - fairly in shape, sense of style, not too much drama, but not a bump on a log either. We like some variety, do new things, go new places...not pokey like some washed up 50 year olds we know.

Having fun, dialoguing when it's not smooth, sharing the wonders still available for those of us lucky enough to have reached midlife with (most of) our faculties intact.

first dates i prefer involve some movement like a walk and then if the conversation is satisfying...
