I've recently moved into the Sittingbourne area, and would like to broaden my horizons a little. I'd like to meet someone with a similar optimistic outlook on life, so we could make each other smile.
I enjoy playing hockey and running, and equally enjoy replacing the burnt calories in good pubs and restaurants. Leaving uni, I fell into IT and work as a desk-based telecoms engineer; however, I would ultimately like to do something more creative, which doesn't involve kicking things to make them work...
I love reading, especially PG Wodehouse and other comedy novels, and try and write myself occasionally. I don't watch a lot of television, but when I do, it's usually comedies or documentaries.
I am quite an enthusiastic cook, if not a little accident-prone in the kitchen- if I don't need skin grafts by the time I've finished, then I don't feel as though I've done justice to the roast ;-)

For a first date, I think meeting in a pub to break the ice would be good. If we were getting on well, we could then move onto a restaurant for dinner, and hopefully arrange to meet again.
Sorry if you're looking for the sort of man who takes people white-water rafting on first dates; but the last time I tried that... well, she just wasn't a strong swimmer.
