Hey, I just want to live happily ever after... doesn't everyone? I have been up and down. Now, I just want "regular". Are you normal? Please, no drama and no games.

Further: Ok, I am going to tell you how I really feel... I hope that I don't come off sounding like an uptight right-winger but here goes. First, similar to the ladies that say, "If your profile include a shot of you without your shirt in front of a sports car... don't reply..." Well, if you include a shot of a dog or a cat in your profile, then you probably ain't for me. And yes, I know some people are so beaten down and lonely that they have come to think that their pet is "almost" or maybe even "just like a person"...But if you have crossed that line, then you are just too far gone for me...lol Next, if you practice astrology or any "new age" belief system/religion, please don't waste our time. Note that I am just a WASP (white, Anglo-Saxon protestant)and while that may bore you, I am ok with my God and my denomination. And there is virtually no hope that I am going to join you on some new plain and embrace far eastern mysticism or any other post modern spiritual babble that says god is in all things and truth is relative to perspective... Next, let’s face facts... we are both stooping to a pretty low level in that we are both looking for love on the internet. Please get honest with yourself and just admit, we are desperate...lol So, stop with the picky attitude already. I mean, I ain't perfect... I have been married more than once and I am not where i want to be financially at this point in my life. Yet, I don't drink, smoke or gamble... I don't beat women, kick dogs/cats or prey on children. I open doors for women and would give my seat to an elderly passenger if the opportunity ever presented itself on a public bus... And things are really looking better in the career area. What I am saying is that I am a pretty solid guy. But I ain't perfect. Guess what, none of us are... So, get over yourself and stop pretending you are looking for Mr. Perfect... He is a figment of your imagination.

Now, this may not help me meet my dream woman. But I sure feel a lot better! Write me if you dare… lol

Update: The day after I posted my "rant", I got one message from a lady that said she thought I was funny. I thought, "Great, the ladies will see me for who I really am: an intelligent and serious guy who likes to joke and have fun..." Then, no more messages...lol So, here's the deal: If you are still reading at this point, maybe there is a chance that you will look past my silly sense of humor and really see me... I now have a cat. His name is Oscar. He is cool and we get along great. But, he is still just a cat... If I get really goofy, I may put a picture of him on my profile...
