I enjoy traveling on short/long trips, simple or exotic. I also enjoy drives in the mountains, exploring, learning, seeing and doing. I also enjoy just staying at home savoring a good meal, glass of wine, and a movie. I enjoy most types of music. A perfect day would include snuggling on the couch near a rip-roaring fireplace (wood burning) with a heavy snow fall outside; or a nice evening sunset walk on ka'anapali beach in maui, or an island in the caribbean (destin, fl is nice too). quality time is essential to me. my boys are also an integral and important part of my life, but there is more than enough room for you too. I am made to love a woman, therefore I will. I am looking to catch lightning in a bottle (kind of romatic but what the hey). If I missplled anything, then please overlook it.

An evening of dinner at a nice resturant (wine too if you'd like), and lots of good conversation, laughs and good hearted banter, story telling and more conversation. I want it to be memorable in case we may have future years to look back upon regarding our pleasant first date. Good communication skills are essential, otherwise how will we get to know each other and discover if we even like each other. I'm a bit traditional and old-fashioned with kissing on the first date, but watch out on the second date. The first date for me is for us to get to know each other enabling us to determine whether a second date would be in order. No first date kissing also establishes the expectations at the beginning of the date for both of us; it also removes the pressure from us regarding that awkward moment at the end of the date, a pleasant hug is enough (unless.....never mind-just kidding :)) ). So if there is a second date, then their must be a mutual interest, therefore again, pucker up and hold my hand. I guess to portray a visual analogy of what I'm trying to say about myself and a first date is that: I dip my toes into the water first instead of jumping in head first, taking a while to see what's there, again, instead of jumping in head first only to discover the water may be tainted, full of pirranah's, or just too cold. Ooooorrrrrr, I may pleasantly discover how nice and warm, soothing and inviting the water may be. That's just me talking and such. And again, if I msspelled anything, then I'm sorry.
