I'm the type of person who loves to talk. Looks like I have myself the perfect job of being a barista and literally getting paid to stand around and talk to people. Doing that has led me to become pretty outgoing instead of the shy person who was afraid to say the first words. I trust people right off in some ways, but build walls around myself in others. Doing so has lead me to be blind to things that are standing right in front of me. I put a lot into my friends and sometimes depend on other people for my happiness. It's something I've always done and I know that as much as I try and change it, I'll always continue to do it to a certain extent. I hate confrontation and will only doing it as a last resort. I love the feeling of just showered, how fresh you feel. I'm the type of girl who is obsessed with how my hair looks. If it doesn't look right after I do it, I start all over. I've been known to do it a couple times in a row. I also love a freshly made bed. The sheets crisp and pulled tight...not buried at the end of the bed. One of the things that irritates me most is when people tell me I have a job that requires me to do nothing. As I said, I get paid to talk, but just because I don't do rocket science, doesn't mean I don't think at work. I put up with people for 8 hours a day. I look down at the bar and see 8 to 10 drinks in front of me, all of which I have memorized each component of them. My job requires a lot of patience and sometimes patience takes a lot more smarts than memorizing something out of a manual. I have an amazing group of friends. We all go out and live the crazy life and have an amazing time doing it. Although some call me "grandma" because I don't normally get trashed when I go out. Vegas has to be one of my absolutely favorite places to be. I've gone down there a couple times with close friends and we've made memories that I will absolutely never forget. I like sweet tarts and sour patch kids. Tulips are my favorite flowers, followed closely by gerber daisies. When I get married, I want those everywhere. Dozens upon dozens. I like getting up on the weekend and walking to the local shops, driving to wherever for no reason at all. I'm looking for someone who shares my interests but also has some of their own and can show me another side of life that I haven't seen yet for myself.

I've never really thought about what an ideal first date would be but some of the best days with friends have involved being in Seattle on a sunny day (who would guess we have those in Seattle). Or driving over to the ocean. Or walking around the zoo. Mariners games. Seahawks games (beware... I love football). I'm not a complex kind of girl. A first date to me doesn't need to be costly, but simply a place where we can talk and have a good time.
