About Me
Hi, My name is Linda. I'm a university student majoring in English; I'm not sure if that will be the field I go into, but hey, that's the point of a language major right? I work and go to school, am always on the go and am constantly switching things in my life around.
When it comes to hobbies, it's all around the board. I love hanging out with my friends whether that means watching a movie, or playing Rockband, or ordering pizza. I also love spending time with my family, in particular my younger brother, we are very close. Since he's seven years younger than me I feel very maternal towards him and try to be a positive role model in his life.
I also love music (who doesn't?). I'm probably not one of those music fans that you can really set into a genre. I love Country and Indie, one with which I grew up and the other into which I grew. Rock, Metal, Punk, Grunge, Pop, Showtunes(I love musicals), Classic Rock...are all on the player.
What I would really like to find is someone who would accept me for who I am now...which is flawed, I'll admit. I'm unorganized, clumsy, sometimes too bold, and little bit of a know-it-all. But don't let that disguise my never-ending stream of awesomeness. However, I'm also passionate, loving, adventurous, brave, and intuitive. I love learning about all aspects of my life and how to make it better, whether it be making a recipe from scratch for the first time, or singing a song in front of a crowd, or taking time to step out of the day to day to experience a new place. I did state that I'm looking for long-term, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I want a ring or babies. I'm only 22 and I'd like to actually have some life experience to share with someone before I make big leaps like those.
I know who I am and what I want. I'm not scared of making mistakes, or getting hurt, it's all part of life, and it just makes me stronger.
I'm also going to let you know that if you send me a message first, you get brownie points, which is always good; everybody loves brownies.
And if you know who John and Hank Green are, I will be in Nerd-like with you, no questions asked.
First Date
Restaurants are usually a good bet, the best times are the ones that you haven't been to yet. then you can laugh and talk about the good or bad things about the place. Besides, if it goes nowhere, you have a restaurant review from two people. Walks, hikes, sledding, coffee, mini golf, maybe even a class or something...these are all good.

Linda is the best person inside, and out, that I have ever met. She's the type of person that would walk 2 hours to be there for her best friend (me), or someone she truly cares about. She's the type of person that makes you laugh until you almost pee in your pants. The type of person you can go see for any type of advice whatsoever, and she will be honest with you.
Some people tend to judge her a little too fast, which is a shame, because they're missing on a LOT. Don't judge a book by it's cover... because you might be missing a whole lot from the inside!
Linda is the whole package. And whoever hurts her... will have to deal with me :) |
