Hello to you. I accepted a job here recently and see myself here for at least several years. Columbus and Charlotte were my homes prior to arriving in Illinois. My interest is to explore the city (or other locations) with friends and that special someone.

Many of my friends are dating and/or engaged, so there is a 'push'; although, this road will be crossed only if I find the right person (as it should be). The risk of divorce in the U.S. is already high and I do not wish to add to this statistic.
I enjoy cooking, dining out, good conversation, movies and sports. I also enjoy quiet evenings at home with that special someone. In high school I swam and played water polo; I continue to enjoy swimming and running to stay healthy.

I am looking for someone to share my experiences here in Chicago. If you are looking for a good guy who knows how to be friends first, then we should meet (I think lasting relationships are built more on this foundation). I am open to dating without being friends first too.
