looking for love, like everyone else, spent 15 years in an unhappy marriage, finally decided I deserved some happiness, my daughter is a teenager now, needs me less and less, looking for someone to be happy with.

I am a considerate, loving person, who loves a good conversation,and can spend hours in Tims talking to friends over coffee, enjoy the simple things in life, bonfires on a beautiful summers evening, country drives, going to flea markets, going to the drive in, a glass of wine or dinner out with friends.

Most people seem to find me very approachable, I am always being approached by strangers in the supermarket, and such, to ask my advice on which coffee to buy, or if I know what kind of apples to use in apple pie etc. I always seem to be having conversations with people I have never met, my friends say it's because I have such a friendly face- I like to think that's true :)

I have also been accused of being a stickler for tradition, I love to do special things at Christmas and other holidays or it just doesn't feel special to me, got to have eggnog and Xmas music while I wrap presents, have to watch "it's a wonderful life" at least once, have to read "The night before Christmas" on Christmas eve, otherwise it feels like any other day! So if you're a scrooge - we may have a problem! LOL

I love animals, and have been chided for putting myself at risk (swerving out of the way of a squirrel!) to avoid hitting one - never have hit anything yet! I would find that horrible, so if you like to hunt, we may not be compatible.

I like a variety of music, country, classic rock, pop - when you listen to teenagers music blasting from their room, on a regular basis - you sometimes find a few that you actually like! Heaven forbid I sing along to them in front of her or her friends! Too uncool! LOL

(so many people on this site seem to!) and I can't tell you how many messages I have received, from men who I of course have never met, who find it appropriate to discuss sex in their initial email!
