And I say that a man with the ability to turn himself into a dangerous plaything to a woman is just as irresistible.

I don't really know what I want to be when I grow up- a chemist, an archaeologist, a philosopher, historian.... I have a career already, but I'm way too curious about everything to be stuck behind a computer for the rest of my life. It's boring. And I hate mindlessness. So, I'm here looking for something new, something interesting. I don't want to pool incomes and buy a house in suburbia. I want to meet secret government agents, artists who can't find enough canvas, writers without writer's block. Travelers and bookworms and geeky astrophysicists that turn into spiritual gurus on the weekends. I want stimulating conversation in bed, and when the conversation ends, I want to laugh.

I don't want to meet someone who identifies with the meaningless, surface content in life, or who has such specific tastes in everything that they don't know the joy of a new experience. I'm not interested in sports teams or celebrities or politicians or fundamentalists of anything.

That said, I love music (it's one of my biggest passions), History, good coffee, art (I'm just discovering oil painting), and I love beer. Preferably dark and brewed by monks in Belgium, but I can down my fair share of PBR if the occasion calls for it. I enjoy reading Tom Robbins and other things that stimulate my brain. Anything about archaeology, Radical Constructivism, and Roman history. Sometimes I like to brush up on my Latin with the convenient little book titled "How to Insult, Abuse, & Insinuate in Classical Latin."

I love getting emails or IM's on here, but I really get sick of the same old "Hi. What's up?" and then the inevitable stall while I decide whether or not I feel like carrying a whole conversation with someone who actually has no real interest in me. I end up being the only one who asks questions, and therefore I know plenty about you and you really know nothing about me. Now that you've been forewarned, if you don't have any questions, you must not really be interested, eh? Or you clearly didn't read down this far!

So, if you think you could be party to stimulating conversations, keep me laughing, and still have the air of a dangerous plaything (it's all just in fun), you should message me.

Other than that, I'm a pretty simple woman. ....Right. :-)

Oh, who knows? I would love to have a first date that wasn't predetermined by a culturally programmed lack of ingenuity. Dinner is great, but it's so unoriginal! Please, someone come up with something more interesting!
