I really, truly, don't want to sound rude but intelligence is THE key factor that has driven me to look for a woman on the damn internet. If you aren't the smartest woman you know, although my instinct is to talk to you anyway, (...maybe you are cute, etc), it just won't work out. The connection, (be it mental, emotional or spiritual), between a man and a woman MUST be there for a real relationship to succeed.

While I'm at it, if you are smart, but ignore your body and health because you are too busy taking pictures of your eyeball, while wearing a beret, thinking it's French surrealism, sitting on a pillow eating sushi, only listening to Indie-pendant music (because that's what smart people "do"), then you aren't smart enough. Your body is life's temple, your mind is only the watch tower.

I swing dance. I run before you wake up in the morning. I get too serious when people start talking politics and think they know something about how the world works. I sleep on the floor. I have an arc welder to play with. I knew the meaning of life but I have purposely forgotten it for the sake of civility. If you see me during the day, my hands will be dirty. If you see me at night, they will be clean. I am very affectionate and have a strong sense of sexuality (both are under lock and key).

I've done a lot of traveling. I lived on my boat for 2 years, sailing around the gulf, scuba diving. I backpacked around Europe several times, been a professional artist, now that I'm near the mountains I've been gaga for camping hiking/survivalist training. Learning and doing is where the life is.

I'm looking for an attractive woman that stays active, healthy and positive and knows that optimism is a choice. Maybe she knows that attractive is only partly to do with surface value. It is, in large part, to do with personality, charisma and intelligence.

If you have rhythm, (walking talking or dancing) and can hold her own in an intellectual conversation, bonus points will be awarded. ;)

I buy historic houses and restore them in order to sell them to the discerning home buyer. (yes, yes, flipping if you must, but quality work and antique houses, not what you see on "reality" T. V. shows) The rest of the story is for over-dinner discussion right?
