Hello, and thanks for visiting.

I’m a school teacher originally from California. I’ve taught 5th grade here in Arizona for three years. I love kids and work with them very well. I’m currently working on purchasing my first home in Chandler. Teaching keeps me pretty busy (usually a 10-12 hour workday, plus planning on the weekends), so I don’t usually have time to get out and meet new people. I figured I’d give the internet a try.

I’m very much the mellow and sensitive type, being very easy to get along with. I’m very forgiving and I care about people very much. I am often described as very kind, sincere, patient and well-spoken. I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor. I’ve never cared for the crazy bars or clubs. I prefer more low-key social settings with friends in places like restaurants, museums, or friend's houses. I’m very clean cut and live a pretty healthy, straight-edge lifestyle.

*Interesting trivia: Despite my straight-edge lifestyle, my favorite music is early ‘90’s inspired and often drug-induced “grunge.” Nirvana, Sonic Youth, and Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs are among my favorites. Go figure.

For fun my biggest hobby is target shooting, but I also like working out, reading, painting with my airbrush, researching the Titanic (my true, inner nerd) watching old movies, and listening to music. I love classical music but need more exposure to it. I take very good care of myself by eating healthy, frequenting the gym, and not smoking or drinking. I’m not crazy about sports, but if you are, I wouldn’t mind catching a game with you or watching one from the couch.

As for what I’m looking for, I’d like to find a nice, respectable woman with a clean, family-oriented lifestyle. You would probably be someone who appreciates art, museums, kids, pets, fine dinning, trips to the zoo, trips to Sedona, and staying in with home-cooked dinner and a movie. Intelligent conversation is a must. Excessive partying, drunkenness, flashing your boobs and illegal drugs are things you’ve never tried. You’re college educated, use proper grammar, and communicate well through writing.

On a first date I typically like to meet up for good conversation over coffee or lunch. There are tons of good places in and around the Phoenix area. I usually try to pick a place with a bookstore nearby, as exchanging book ideas is a good way to get to know someone.
