I knew I should have taken that COD course "How to make myself seem charming, and appealing in 500 words or less"... lol... Well, I'm a computer/network security engineer for a huge corporation... I like all the standard stuff, the bears, cubs, concerts, theater, Ravina, roller blading, movies, the lake, bicycling, motorcycles, etc. So I'm probably not that unique in the sense of what I like to do for day to day fun. Although I hate Will Farrel & Jack Black's movies... So if your a huge fan, it probably won't work out... lol
I do have a pretty large adventurous streak running threw me though. I'm a PADI certified scuba diver, I use to go sky diving a few years back, managed to get into a pro stock car race, and a few other odds & ends... 99.99% of the time, I'm a pretty regular guy, but that .01% has caused me to get into some pretty cool situations.
I'd like to say I'm a smart guy, with a pretty quick wit, but I'll let you be the judge of that. For all I know, I'm a dumb ass and no one has gotten around to tell me yet.... lol.. So if you decided I am... Be gentle, and let me live in my denial. If you've gotten this far, I'm sure you've figured out, I'm a complete smart ass, but I'm harmless and like self deprecating humor.
I think my expectation level is pretty low with meeting a potential "mate" off an on-line dating site, but I'm still up for seeing who's out there. If anything, I'm cool with meeting someone for a drink, or coffee, maybe play some pool and getting to know someone new. Currently, I'm stuck in suburban hell... The western burbs to be exact... But I lived down town for 8 years, and loved it. So if there's the excuse to go down there for a date, then I'm very cool with that.

Well... honestly, I would think a first date with someone I met off here would be a pretty low key thing. Meet for coffee, or a drink... Like I said, maybe play some pool, hang out for a while, and get to know each other. See if we had enough chemistry for a second date, and take it from there. |
