....Once upon this time lived a shy but charming gentleman with multiple personalities who longed for a loving and lasting relationship. "Verily and forsooth," pined the thoughtful, romantic personality, "my heart acheth for a fair maiden with whom I may wander around the world, hand in hand whilst whispering sweet nothings in her ears. Wherefore art her?" "Avast me hearty," bellowed the passionate, adventurous personality, "your scallywaggin shivers me timbers! What we need to do is sail the seven seas in search of a damsel in distress, who will forever be beholden to us once we rescue her." "My brothers," intoned the sensible, optimistic personality, "we need only post an honest profile of ourselves on Plentyoffish, and sooner or later the woman of our dreams will contact us." "Dream on!" scoffed the other two, which led to a lengthy argument that was only resolved when all three personalities chose to go their separate ways. Luckily their characteristics remained with the gentleman, who continues to search for that lovely lady to share a life of laughter and leisure. And when he finds her, they'll live happier (than any couple in a fairy tale ending) ever after.

Here's an easy going guy who's affectionate, appreciative and financially secure. As a business owner I've won environmental achievement awards from the cities of Richmond, Surrey and Abbotsford. I have two daughters aged 13 and 16 who reside with their Mom, and an 18 year old son that lives with me. They're great kids who don't suffer from addictions to shopping or computer games - in fact, they thrive on them. Activities for me include walking Tiger (the sweetest dog ever), working out with a trainer four times a week, and swimming occasionally. Tennis or pitch and putt anyone? I enjoy seeing movies but never watch TV. Travelling (whether it's far away or just in B.C.'s beautiful back yard) is something I love to do, as well as attending concerts, plays and stand-up comedy.

Though I cast my line where there's plenty, I'm fishing just for one: a happy, healthy and humourous woman who likes to give as well as receive. She'll have beautiful eyes that tell no lies and a smile I can't stare at enough. When I reel her in we'll both dig in to an endless feast of life, served with challenging thoughts, new experiences, fun-filled times and soft sweet kisses. And in case we get too serious, we'll nibble on some giggles just to keep us young and silly!

I'm a classy man who believes a first date should be as romantic as possible. So naturally I'll want to meet at Main and Hastings. We'll start by strolling the alleyways, diving in dumpsters and hanging with the homeless. Then for fun we'll let the air out of police car tires. Finally, after trying our luck at panhandling we'll quaff a quart of moonshine, get positively pie-eyed and pass out in a porta-potty.

Now I know you're thinking, "Oh my gosh, that would be the best time I've ever had!" True, but wait till I tell you about our second date......
