I'm first and foremost a mom(children's ages: 26; 23; and 18), though I have a life outside of my children. My youngest child graduated from high school at the end of 5-09 and lives with me at the this time. (I do look forward to being involved with my grandchildren when and if they arrive.) I'm eclectic and believe variety is the spice of life. I'm honest with a lot of integrity. I love people and animals. Though not perfect, I really like who I am. I'm spiritual with a strong connection to God, though not a regular church goer.

Though my 18 year old son lives with me at this time we rarely see each other for more than 5 min. at a time. My 26 year old daughter lives locally at this time. I see her when I go for a few min. to say "hello" where she bar-tends. We txt and talk every 2 to 3 weeks. My 23 year old son lives in TX and we txt and talk every 2 to three weeks. My children know I'm available for them though, not monetarily(You can't get blood from a turnip, lol.).

I really like dancing. All kinds of dancing. For me dancing is about the enjoyment of allowing my body to move to the rhythm of music. I wish more men were open to the fun of dancing without it being a performance to them. Women in general don't judge ability. They just want a man to dance with them. (Love dances and drum circles.)

Outside of dancing I have many interests. I enjoy going biking, walking outdoors, camping with a group of people, and swimming. I really like museums and festivals. I like to try new and different things. I really don't enjoy cooking but would enjoy helping someone prepare, cook, and clean in the kitchen. I don't mind yard work that is shared.

I really like to have fun and enjoy being silly. Yes, I still enjoy some of the rides at 6 Flags. I'm very affectionate with the right person. If the chemistry is right, being a gentleman goes a long way in bringing out my affectionate nature.

I'm quirky in a fun way. (My daughter has expressed I need someone who will appreciate my free spirit. She has said I don't just have the drummer I have the whole damn band. That statement was spoken in reference to me following the beat of a different drummer.) If a person is very set in their ways, I usually upset them. (Not intentionally) I don't have an anal bone in my body. I'm very respectful of personal boundaries. A while back in May of 2009, a co-worker told me that's what I like about you. You see things in ways no one else sees. I asked if she meant because I'm outside the box? She said, "What box?"

I take that back about not being anal at all. I'm very anal about my integrity, my personal values, and how I treat people.

I'm a suburbanite, possibly an urban person, rarely a rural person. I don't like the traffic Atlanta has but I prefer the amenities of the suburban/urban life. I grew up in a rural area of GA.

I really enjoy animals. I won't have a relationship that doesn't want me to have pets. Right now I have cats. They are inside cats and they are staying inside because I think cats are safer inside. In the future I hope to get a dog or two, an aquarium, and an African Grey Parrot. I will still have cats. Sorry to those that are allergic or just don't like cats.

I'm not interested in interracial dating, smokers, or hunters. I am a one man woman. If you are not totally single, please pass me by. I work at taking care of myself physically, etc. I expect the same from a romantic partner.

Would like to find someone that I enjoy dating that could turn into something lasting. I'm looking for someone that is comfortable with themselves and willing to communicate on a deep and personal level.
