PLEASE READ THIS FIRST – Why is it there are people on here…yes a dating and social network site…who don’t meet and perpetually hide behind a profile…they message etc and exchange phone numbers then disappear when it comes to actually meeting…why is that???…. Can anyone tell me?? Oh and while I’m having a minor rant could you please write something that at least shows interest rather than a one line “Hi, how are you” …and also read the profile and any message sent; some of the replies I get bear no relation to the message sent…ok rant over.
Life is for living and loving, laughing and giving. Life is too short to just stand on the sidelines and too short to be serious all the time, and too short to be sending constant messages back and forth for weeks.

So what excites me and makes me happy? Good music and rhythm that moves my soul. The wind rushing by as I drive through the countryside on hot summers day with the music on, the beach and roaring sea/ocean, sunrise and sunset, the atmosphere of intimacy by candlelight, incredible love making, the smells and sounds of the forest, sunlight filtering through leaves, the sound of water, the smell of garlic, oregano, and olive oil near or in a good Italian restaurant, a smart good looking woman, a glowing fire, learning something new, being in the moment, feeling life in a sensual way, travelling, a romantic feeling just holding hands or having a hug, and at peace together.

I do all the usual things i.e. going out or staying in etc. I do like to laugh and will often do things to make you laugh, I can do daft, and I can also do sensible, comfortable just being out one to one and relaxing in the home, but also sociable in a group and fine with having a good time at “Doo’s” and functions to dance the night away. I do like to get out and about in nice weather i.e. run into the countryside, find a nice tearoom or café bar, trips to the coast, weekends somewhere different.

I would like to meet a lady who looks after her appearance and has some style and a bit of social class, who is natural, unselfish, funny even, but must be able to laugh with a G.S.O.H. Someone who can be or is tactile, but giving as well as accepting, and understands the importance of a caring, sharing & communicative relationship. Perhaps I'm asking too much, but then for the right lady who has similar views etc I would compromise because I doubt there is someone who matches all the things I would like...or is there...is it you???

Meet for a drink or coffee first to break the ice and relax, maybe a bit of food, or a walk, or all three...then if we like each other and can relate then who knows, it could lead to another date or friendship...wherever you feel comfortable with...you can even choose, or I will...but somewhere we can relax and hear ourselves.
As for a romantic meal on the first date!!! come on...not good when we have never met before but very likely in the future if the dates continue.
