Life is an adventure. I'm looking for someone who is smart and funny and has a good heart -- somebody who is upbeat and optimitic -- and in a continuous self-improvement mode. I live on Sanford Lake (9 miles west of Midland) and love being on or near the water. I play piano and guitar and am artistic (paint impressionistic paintings with acrylics.) I'm a good cook (my Dad ran a large seafood restaurant). I'm passionate about freedom and free enterprise (used to work for a free-market "think tank") and enjoy philosophical conversations. I now do workforce development, and love my job helping people to find rewarding technical careers.

I like first dates to be brief and rather informal -- like lunch or coffee. I find that you can usually tell if you have chemistry by the end of a lunch and decide if this is somebody you'd like to see again.
