I used to have a lot written in here, but I'm going to just make this short and sweet now.

Sometimes I'm a jerk, like anyone can be. Sometimes I'm a great guy, and I can be the sweetest man you've ever met. Anyone who says they're great to everyone all the time is lying. We're all bad sometimes. I'm no different.

I am open minded, I take my life day by day, and I've found that in a lot of things it's best to be versatile and flexible... especially when it comes to meeting people and making relationships/friendships.

If you are looking at my profile, chances are you're going to write me or write me back because you think I'm cute and can spell. Because of that, I'll let you find out for yourself exactly who I am and what I'm all about. I am stable, I have a two bedroom place to myself and my dog, and I have all of the basics covered. I'm going back to college thanks to my job in the fall, so that's something to consider if you're interested in me... I will be kind of busy then. But I'll find time for the right person.

For a friend, a girlfriend, someone I'd date, or anything else, I absolutely must have a few qualities... You must be honest, loyal, and treat me with the same respect that I will treat you with. This is very important to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bitter from past experience, but I'm realistic. I won't waste my time, which is valuable to me, on anyone who would lie, cheat, or disrespect me. I am not forgiving about this. I'm very understanding and patient... so be straightforward with me, as I will be with you.

Everything else is negotiable, and I don't have a type. A lot of different types of women like me, and I like a lot of different types of women. I don't mind if you have kids (actually I respect that. it says a lot about a person to raise a kid, especially all on their own.), if you're a little older or younger, if you are a goth girl, a headbanger, a girl next door, a nerd, a hippie, a college girl, a corporate lackey/asskicker, etc. etc. Just be good to be and have my back, and I'll do the same. Despite how straight-to-the-point I sound from this blurb, I do have a great sense of humor, I have my romantic moments, and I will always support you and be there for you even if you're wrong. I don't want to run anyone's life for them or push anyone to do anything they don't want to, but I'm not afraid to give my opinion or take charge if it's needed. In other words, I have respect for people. We're all adults here. You're surely not on this site looking for a manager to supervise your life. And I'm not here looking for an assistant.

We can figure that out after talking a bit. But generally, coffee or a drink is what I like to do first. It doesn't have to last long if we have no chemistry, or it can last as long as we like if we do. I like to keep things laid back and pressure free, especially on the first time meeting someone.

Plus, it's good to do something casual and laidback first anyway. You can talk to someone online or even on the phone for weeks, then meet in person and realize that something's missing, and that the two of you will probably never even chat again. Then you've wasted each others' time and effort.

I usually like to do something like that kind of soon, unless you're cautious (which, as a woman, you have every right to be... there are plenty of crazy men on the internet I'm sure) about it and like to take a lot of time before ever meeting. And if you are that way, that's fine too.
