I love to make people laugh, but I also know when to get down to business. I'm proud of my accomplishments in life, but I never let them define me or use them to slight others. I am smart, kind, caring, and generous, but I know when I'm being taken advantage of. I hope to encounter the right person in due time, but I refuse to give up my sense of self or rush into something new. "One looks, one never finds." Has always been my mantra.

I like to keep positive people around me in all areas of my life, and my family is everything to me. My parents are the best role models a man could possibly have, as they taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. They are living proof that all things in life are possible if your heart is behind your efforts. Operating a family business these days demands nothing less.

I love to stay fit and go trail-running with my dog as well as spend time in the gym. I grew up playing football, baseball, wrestling, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking... if there's a sport out there I think I've done it, lol. When I'm stressed I love to take my chopper out for a ride on a nice day.

A drama-free life is extremely important to me. We are only here for a short time, so why waste time with immature/selfish(enter your own descriptor here) people? :) I have many friends from all walks of life, and I revel in our commonalities as opposed to our differences... it keeps life interesting. As a result, I seem to have the uncanny ability to relate with almost anyone...within reason, of course.

A healthy sense of humor is also a big deal for me. If we can't laugh at ourselves sometimes, what do we really have?

And last but not least, the main reason I'm doing this is because I am the polar opposite of the typical aggressive male you may encounter when you're out and about... so call me picky I guess. I'm okay with that.

Something I've been noticing on this site that just boggles the mind:

Ladies, when you have a huge headline that indicates your disdain for men who are "Players" followed by your profile pics in which your breasts are hanging completely out with captions like "Check out my girls"... do you think perhaps, just possibly, you may be sending somewhat of a mixed message??? LOL. A LITTLE CLASS CAN GET YOU A LONG WAY. :-) Seriously.
