The first thing you’ll probably notice about me is my sense of humor. I love to laugh and find humor in even the most mundane things. I am very easy going and find that life is more exciting and enjoyable if you are flexible, can switch gears and go a different direction just because. That being said, I’m emotionally and financially stable and do not have ADHD. I try to minimize my footprint on this planet and I tend to lean towards the liberal side. I’m tolerant and spiritual and have my own interpretations of what our Creative Power wants of us.

I love the outdoors and like to snowshoe, X-country ski, camp, hike and mountain bike. I would like to start kayaking. I’m not competitive, the ultimate goal is the enjoyment of being outside with nature. I love our national parks and have visited most of the parks this side of the continental divide. I have a passion for waterfalls, will stop, hike to one and take a self portrait in front of it. One of my idiosyncrasies.

I love road trips and am near my goal of driving every scenic byway in OR and have put quite a dent in the byways of ID, MT, WA and UT. I try to adopt Robert Frost’s ideology and take the road less traveled. My philosophy is to embrace the differences and experience new things. That has led to some interesting choices: bone marrow dumplings with calf’s liver at a café in Rottenberg (not what I thought I ordered) and driving the Forgotten Road Highway (forgotten is a very good adjective) in New Zealand. Both wonderful experiences in retrospection.

Other likes include, but certainly aren’t limited to, microbrews, coffee, music (especially jazz, blues and classical), independent films, dining and drinking al fresco, wine tasting, walking on the beach, crossword puzzles, the list goes on. I’m a casual guy and prefer jeans and shorts. I absolutely love dogs.

I'm looking for a woman who is independent, sincere, caring, tolerant and honest. Someone who is active but knows how to relax, has a great sense of humor and likes to laugh. A woman who wants a man in her life but doesn't need a man in her life.
