| | People have told me that I don't know a stranger and I believe that's true, although I definitely like my alone or quiet times, as well. I am open minded and giving, don't like to judge others harshly, and appreciate the same in return. I stand on my own two feet, but miss having someone to walk beside in life. I would love to eventually move from the college town in rural IL where I have been living too long and get back east. I'm from PA originally, hence my pen name for this website. My backup plan is to see if I can swing a time share somewhere by the water, preferrably at the Gulf or the east coast. The biggest event ever in my life recently occurred-I adopted a little toddler girl from Guatemala in April! She is my angel and we have been blessed to find each other. I loved visiting Guatemala and will return with her to visit in the future. She likes the water and live music, just like her mommy, which is great! I have worked in a state psychiatric hospital for 15 years, so she is a breath of fresh air in the midst of the pain and suffering that I have seen our patients endure. |
