I am a quiet reasonably intelligent funny guy who is 100 percent reliable,honest, and straight forward. I enjoy visiting friends, hanging out to see sports, exploring new restaurants, going to small cantinas, cooking at outdoor bbqs, and chilling at concerts.

I'm always good for at least one observation with a funny twist or play on words. It's good to laugh and smile as much as you can everyday. Sometimes my jokes are bad and sometimes not. But when they are bad I don't mind being told so.

I'm proud of my family,my accomplishments, and my independence from social norms.
I got a little bit of that hippie free spirit but have good judgment.

I like women who are naturally pretty but dont need compliments and makeup all the time. I really don't like women who are too overweight or too tall. I like women under 5 ft. 4 . I try to be fair on this but when I'm honest with myself I have to admit that I prefer healthy to thin women.
So in our culture that makes it tough because its seems like alot of us are overweight. Does this make me a bad guy? I hope not. I am what I am. I am physically fit and expect my partner to be reasonably fit. You ought to see my leg muscles and chest. I bet I can still run the 100 meters under 13 secs. In my twenties I ran 5 miles a day for about five years.

I also like to play basketball and baseball. I like watching those sports as well as tennis,and golf. I will watch some soccer every now and then when I go to my brother in laws home.

But recently I dont know if its age or what but I have not been as active.

On the academic side of life, I like dabbling in, hearing about philosophy,psychology, math theory, engineering and software stuff. I enjoy brushing up on education and staying current. Some of my best friends teach at the community colleges, something I also did a long time ago.

I like languages as well. I'm fluent in Spanish and like to watch novelas on TV if I get a chance.

I am not religious but have those catholic values ingrained into my system.

I was brought up where the house was always spick and span and tidy. Its been tough
for me to measure up to those standards. When I was married we did a pretty good job of keeping the house up even when the kids were small.
I just dont like to clean house that much and would rather read,watch TV, or play sports. But eventually the housework gets done. I can fix everything it just takes me a little while to get to it. Aint that where you come in?

So in short I guess I'm looking for a good looking, physically fit, smart gal with a sense of humor who finds me mentally and physically attractive so that she would like to spend alot of time with me doing fun stuff like movies, restaurants, hanging out, bbqs, concerts, going to Austin, and attending cultural events.

My sons are grown teenagers and are in a rock band. So for the time being I am semi band manager, roadie, etc. ... at least for a few more years.
Its fun and I would like to have a lady with me to enjoy a few shows the next few years.
