I'm a bit like Hobbes the tiger, a trickster full of surprises. My job can be a little stressful sometimes, so I like occasional acts of situational insanity like Looney Tunes cartoon marathons & squirt gun battles. Long twisting roads on the back of a bike or the torque of an engine in a classic piece of American heavy metal make me shiver like quicksilver. I love to wallow in decadence and be spoiled & showered with affection, and I do all these things in return for the people in my life.

Being a woman of many facets, I can go from the local pub to the opera and feel at ease in either place. I am equally at home whether I'm wearing silk, satin, leather or air, although I have a sneaky fondness for wearing stiletto-heeled shoes with a fur coat and perfume. My tastes in recreation are as eclectic as my taste in music, so I belly dance & shoot pool, watch foreign films & animation. I've got long nails, a razor-sharp tongue full of witty repartee & I like getting my hands dirty working on the car. Like a well-cut diamond, I have a thousand facets that all come together in harmony at the right time and place.

I like men who appreciate women with a sense of humor & a sense of style, who'll let me be part of a team while still being independent. I want someone who knows how to hold me close without squeezing too tightly, who can light my fire, smooth my ruffled feathers, warm me up & cool me down. I have a keen appreciation for a man who makes me laugh or think. A sense of irony & the ridiculous helps to offset the occasional curve in the road, so being able to see the comic side of the situation is a bonus, especially since I have an irreverent sense of humor at times.

A caramel frappacino at a coffee house or an ice cream at the Beacon Hill drive-in is always a good start for an afternoon date. On the other hand, a cozy dinner for 2 at Pagliacci's is a sure-fire way to get my attention as well. But I think my ideal first date is more about the person I'm with than where we go. To look into a man's eyes and see the spark of interest and a desire to know more makes me want a second date and maybe more....
