Making new friends, enjoying the comapny of a good woman are among my goals associated with joining this site. I have my two children (boy 14, girl, 17 yikes!) every other week. I work to live not live to work. Enjoy socializing at home, going out, or just being close to someone. Life should be lived. Music is something that Is important to me and I have wide ranging taste and am always looking for something new to enjoy. I am looking for someone who is fun loving, passionate, nonmaterialistic, can improvise, can be themselves, is comfortable with themselves as a person, is secure , but there must be chemistry and passion and connection- without that there is little reason to spend much time together. Occasional weekend trips are on the agenda. Someone who appreciates a man as I appreciate a woman, someone who can be emotionaly avaiable and communicate, someone who wants one man, someone who appreciates the value of time apart and recognizes that it makes the time together even sweeter. Because I do hunt (birds), fish (saltwater), boating in general, go to art shows, LSU games,
LSU parties, enjoy New Orleans (I am social but am not dependent on it). Someone who makes me not want to spend too much time away? (or likes to fish ha ha) Would be nice to want to come home to someone who felt the same way. There is, of course more to life than "outdoors" and "indoors" - wouldn't it be fun to fidn out? Oh, cajun dancing, 2-step is a plus. I am looking for someone who is flexiable socially from jeans to dinner attire. The person I find must be able to exchange witty banter, realize that oversensitivity is a recipe for diaster. Looking for someone who wants to provide mutual emotional support - does not mean co-dependency. That unspoken level of comfort, mutual trust, one can hope - right? If nothing else I am real and honest.

Dinner together no first get together at the movies. Going somewhere to dance is always fun. It would have to be something we were both comfortable with. A zydeco band would work too. Time to talk is a must.
