Hi -
I am looking for companionship, friendship, and romance.
* I enjoy meeting new people. I am glad you are visiting and hope you will email me, if you think we may have compatible personalities. I'd love to hear how your day went. I'm extroverted and I love to converse. I love to exchange ideas and thoughts about social issues, current events, science, and pretty much anything. I also love sunrises, sunsets, cultural events, reading, long walks, and country drives.
* I'm easy going about most things. I like to brighten people's days with a little humour.
* I love great food and dining out. I can cook, but nothing that sophisticated. I love different styles of food and I like trying new places & cuisines. I enjoy fine dining and trying the unusual.
* Travel is something that I have done and wish to do more of. I have traveled to England, Scotland, Germany Switzerland, France, Holland, and Texas. Having grown up in Winnipeg, I find it fascinating to be in buildings where historical events took place many hundreds of years ago. I also love to see the art and architecture that has been collected over the centuries. I hope to see Egypt, Israel, China, Italy, Greece and Turkey in coming years.
* My musical tastes are quite varied. I enjoy classic rock, alternative, light classics, and chamber music. Some favorites include: The Who, U2, REM, Simple Minds, Blue Oyster Cult, Aaron Copeland, Dvorak, Handel, and Andrew Lloyd Weber. (My playlist contains a wide variety of music I enjoy. In a normal day I listen to more adult alternative and rock than classical.)
* Some TV programs in the past 2 years that I have enjoyed are: Rome, The Tudors, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, The Office, Fringe, Extras, and various documentaries on the History and Civilization channels. Other years I've liked mysteries and sci-fi.
* For my education, I've studied Electrical Engineering at U of M and Computer Science at U of T, plus various community college and commercial courses in management and supervision. I am employed in business based information technology.
* Although I grew up in Winnipeg, I did leave to live in Toronto for 16 years. I have been back for 12 years now and really love many things about our city.
Thank you for reading my profile. I hope we can chat soon.

I'd enjoy a cup of coffee at The Fyxx or Second Cup, where we can relax, get to know each other, and see if there is compatibility. Or if you'd rather, a glass of wine at The Forks.
My idea of fun and enjoyable dates down the road include dinner some place nice, maybe along Corydon or Osborne, or window shopping, a concert, show, play, or ballet.
