Hiya boys! I'm Alexis, currently residing in Atlanta. Just moved here from Phoenix, Arizona. I have tried this site in the past and found some decent friends from it. On here to give it another go. I plan on going back to school to receive my degree in elementary education. I do love the kiddos! I have had quite a bit of college under my belt in criminal justice and that is still a passion of mine.

I am pretty diversified in my interests and will try just about anything once...although I do have a paralyzing fear of anything that will make me go "splat"! I'm not afraid of heights...it's the fall that kills me. Ha!

My daddy always said that it ain't braggin' if you can do it, so here goes... I'm intelligent, funny, compassionate, goal and family oriented, love animals, patient, laid back and outgoing. I have never been on any type of mood-altering medication, nor do I need it. I have never been to jail. I don't have any crazy exes that hunt me down, nor I am not hung up on any of my exes. I am a really optimistic person and I am ALWAYS the person a friend calls first when they need help. I try to find the best in everyone, although some make it more difficult than need be. Hee hee. I won't lie...I have a good head on my shoulders and I'm not afraid to use my intellect. I am opinionated, but then again, who isn't? However, I'm not so pig-headed that I refuse to listen to someone else's point of view. I am very patient and understanding and am the type of person to give you the shirt off my back, as long as it's appreciated. Also, laughter is a huge part of my life. I love to laugh! I'm goofy, a bit zany and will do just about anything for a laugh, even at my own expense! Yes, I am sarcastic and a smartass, but you gotta take the sweet with the sour! Ha!

As I have come to understand, most gals here in the South are into college ball. That's fine and all, but I'm a pro! Ha! I am an Arizona native, so all my teams are Az teams. Yes, even the AZ Cardinals. Yes, I'm serious. You can stop laughing now...anytime you're ready...waiting...waiting...done yet? No? How about now? Ok.
Hockey is my favorite sport, but I do love my football and baseball.
Also, love music. I like most everything, but my favorites are rock n' roll and country.

I'll tell you what I am NOT looking for. I'm not going to be a doormat. I have a spine and have grown quite attached to it. I'm not going to be a contingency plan. I don't tolerate cheaters, liars or abusers. If we are together and you find someone you like better, more power to ya. I'm a big girl...I can take the truth. I also refuse to be a notch on someone's bedpost. If you are a womanizer or just looking to hit and run, WALK ON. That's not what I'm about. I'm a southern girl at heart and hold my values and morals near and dear.

So, if you are intelligent, funny, goal-oriented, sweet and don't take the little things for granted, we will probably get along just fine. Hmmm, such a loaded question. I suppose an ideal first date would be something original. Don't get me wrong, I can hang with McDonald's and a movie too. I'm not hard to please. Dinner and a jazz club or lunch and an amusement park or coffee and a flick. As long as I am enjoying the company, what we are doing is trivial.
