First of all I'm NOT 51... I just turned 49 this Easter....I'm just a pretty simple, down to earth woman who was married for 20 yrs & now has been single for the past 8 yrs. I'm passionate, compassionate, love laughter so a great sense of humor is a major plus, I'm a bit on the tomboy side but I've been told I clean up fairly well *wink* I'm a transplant from California... the youngest of 6 kids & the mother of 3 awesome kids... my oldest would have been 26 this July but I tragically lost him to a car accident a few days before his 21st birthday... I tell you this because it's part of who I am & when I say I know how important each day on this earth is I know what I'm talking about....... I have a wonderful son who just turned 19... graduated high school & got to tour Europe for 17 days( lucky dawg ) & I have a beautiful daughter who is 16 & a junior in high school. I work 2nd shift in the aircraft industry & in my free time I love to go to concerts, weekend road trips to nowhere in particular or doing whatever allows me to enjoy this wonderful life we have been given. I'm honest, trustworthy & not into playing games. I'm happy, love to laugh so yes, I believe I have a great sense of humor!! Oh & I can be onery at times too so I've been told!! Just looking for that one person whom I can connect with. Not out to date several at one time... would just like to find that "one" to be able to get to know. I'm not on here "fishing" around to see what comes up that might be better than what I came across before... Like I said, I'm looking for one & one only & once he realizes that he's looking for me there will be no more need for this dating site. I'm a very caring person who loves to have fun... who would be there for you in the good & the bad... I'm looking for my one & only... the one who makes my tummy flutter... the one I can't take my eyes off of & whom I miss when we are apart.... Will he realize that I'm for him? Time will tell.... Well if you made it this far then you are actually reading my profile lol... Doesn't a first date come after a first meeting? lol I'm begining to think that I should change the "what are you looking for" to something besides "longterm" as maybe that is what is scaring all of you away... but if I were to change that it wouldn't be me being honest with you or myself.... I have been single for way too long... have had a few relationships that were great but were obviously not meant to be long term... I'm quite ready to begin the next chapter in my life book.... I begining to wonder though if he is on this site or any site for that matter... I guess the saying " when you stop looking is when love will find you" is quite possibly true... anyway...
