About me, well I just turned 50 a few months ago and been married for over 24 years,
We have 3 wonderful children who are gown and in college. For the past few years, we have grown further apart in our marriage and been basically separated. I have been on POF for awhile and have made some great friends who gave some great advice. The problem that I had, I didn’t want to hear what they were saying to me; well I was wrong for not listening. Such advice in order for me to move forward, the door needs to be closed behind me. For the longest time, I had been afraid to make that step to the unknown. The sorties I have heard from other POF members, I was shocked and 2nd guessed myself. I now know, the journey needs to continue to the unknown. As one friend told me, every time you feel good about yourself, put a marble in the jar. When you don’t feel good about yourself, remove a marble. After awhile you will tell more about yourself by looking at the jar. As I turned 50, my life is about to begin and I hope to have a bigger marble jar.

I am in good shape for a person of my age. I am looking for a friend to go out with and having a nice glass of wine or a beer on a patio. I enjoy romantic dinners, comedy clubs, sporting event, hiking, and weekends away. As I move to the next step, I have removed my pictures from POF. I do have them to share with the right person. If you want to know anything about me you'll have to ask. As I mentioned, I am still technically married until the divorce is final. I know this will eliminate a lot of nice people, but at times you need to make a step backwards, before moving forward.

First meeting I would think keep it simple and meet for dinner or drinks a see if a connection was made.
