Been single quite some time, and it's funny, but I frequently find women running on empty when it comes to empathy, forgiveness & understanding; and only about half-tanked when it comes to appreciation or reciprocity....Aren't those nurturing qualities that women are suppose to naturally possess, or have developed in their spiritual walk? I know that I bring these qualities to the table and exercise them liberally....Where's the woman who does, too? To date, she's been quite elusive....

I love kids and being a dad---wouldn't even mind having a few more, although not necessary. My little genetic transfers range from 30 to 10, the youngest of whom I have custody. However, he loves his mom so I make sure that he spends half his time with her, which means that I'm available half the time...especially 1st, 3rd & 5th weekends...lol

I'm often asked why I'm still available, and the best answer is "bad timing;" apparently I zigged when the rest of the world zagged--when I was available, my loves were not, and then, when I became UN-available (kids, wives, etc.), my loves had become the opposite...But I remain hopeful that the world is in balance and that will rectify itself in time...

I smoke, but you'd never know it...Thanks to chemistry and MacGyver thinking, neither my house, my hair, my clothes, nor my car smell like smoke...and I don't smoke in other's houses or cars, or where people are eating--including me. I've often been told that I don't taste like a smoker, either--I'm not sure how...good dental hygiene?Gum? I've always said that for the right person, I'd be more than willing to give up the habit, but that person has yet to emerge...

The past few years of parenthood and good cooking--mine--have put about 20 unnecessary pounds on me, but again, for the right person, that is easily shed...until then, I don't think enough of it to change it...

I'm DDF & not much into "chaos"...I tend to avoid consummate victims and people who like to constantly shoot themselves in the foot...If you are such a person, please spare us both and move to the next guy. Will respond only to those whom I can see...more of me at My Space /abigado

First dates with me range from the cliche' to the odd & spontaneous, but nothing with which anyone would be uncomfortable...Enlightened or intrigued, perhaps, but never anything in which one could not be one's self...Although, I rarely like movies on a first date, because too much time is spent without communicating...

Road trip? Symphony? Coffee house? Dinner? Dancing? Some good 'ol Rock'n Roll? A moonlight swim or stroll on a beach? Berry picking or bird watching? How 'bout some gator chasing? (OK--I'll keep that one for my son & me)...I'm only confined by my own--or another's-- imagination.....
