I need to put this 1st now I guess. If you don't want someone who still thinks and acts likes he's 30, then I am not for you. I am not laying around waiting to die....

I'm not into things, money, possessions, I have those, who cares. I want to continue to create, and push whatever buttons I can. All my friends say my life is like Mozart's, you do things nobody else could get away with. And that's what I'll always be. If you're timid or in-secure, understand, I'm the guy that goes to an MTV opening in NYC, and walks around the line. Not Because I was invited, but because I BELONG. And if they stop me, Hey, I'm the guy who just did the MTV book on Vinyl Art, ..... and so it goes. This is not me being pretentious or showing off, this is me, knowing what is art, and dealing with it. But if you want me to stand in line at a local baseball game, and the conversation is fun, I will easily enjoy this. I'm not trying to be a pompous ass.

OK, I'm an Artist.

I live by that hard to define aesthetic that is Art. Paintings, Poetry, Music, Fashion, blah, blah. By Art, I don't mean local Arts and Crafts. Art, pushing boundaries, buttons, sensibilities. I've designed under the name "ShiniGami" over 20 years, participated in Shows at The Showroom NYC 2nd Ave.(US), Collette Paris, Playground London, Secret Base Tokyo, Metago Hong Kong, Museum of Contemporary Art LA(US), Museum of Modern Art NYC(US) and other image hawkers. I write, paint, sculpt and anything else I think will make a statement. Currently working on a show for NYC, and producing some Children's DVDs and Animation as sort of a real job. ;)

This is the world I live and work in. Not much into Sports, I do like Baseball but mainly Football(Soccer) (Go Friggin Manchester United! Liverpool are Knobs!) I play drums,maybe 1 hour a day. I have a Platinum Record for Duran Duran drum remixes, so yes, I really know how to play them. Let me put playing drums like this, I can step in for 99% of all drummers playing today anywhere. (Except Steve Gadd and Dave Weckel-STL Nod here). Wanna talk Purdie Shuffle.

Me, I'm Looking to find a friend,see what develops from there. Not looking for casual sex, drama, stalking or anything else.

I grew up in the country. I've lived in NYC and the Hood, nothing bothers me, I can take care of myself and anyone I'm with.

I love Women with a Great Smile, Confident, Intelligent (the Smarter the Better), Optimistic, Honest, Family Oriented, Love Kids, a Quick Wit, Great Conversationalists, who can make me laugh. Someone who can tell me what they like, want and hope for, their interests, dreams and goals. A goal doesn't need to be a solo show at Opera NYC, it can be charitable work, building a garden or painting your grand children's bedroom walls with sea shells and mermaids.

Me, I'm Funny (I really am, just get me out away from cameras and paint), Overly Creative, Honest, Spontaneous, intelligent (Brainiac), Motivated, Hard Working, Affectionate, Loyal, Optimistic, and know how to treat a lady, at least I like to think so. ;) I'm at home in the Country or wilderness, Times Square or Hong Kong. I like a dress shirt and tie, jeans and t-shirt changing brakes, or the latest SMASH or Recon overpriced designer bull sh!t they send me from NYC.

I've spent allot of time in cities, NYC probably the longest, but grew up on a large farm in Southern Ill. I've Bailed Hay, Straw, Hoed Beans, De-tasseled corn, slopped hogs and other farm slave-like tasks, so not a "City Boy".

I don't really feel my age, and frankly, don't want to. Why should I, I'm not going to sit around and wither away.

Looking for the right woman that I can call my best friend, to encourage and help in whatever aspirations and dreams she has, that we can enjoy together. That symmetry is why couples exist, why men and women both exist and grow. Why we live, love, and hope to grow old together.

I respect women who are self sufficient, who survive by their own skills, don't need a man or anything else. A strong, confident woman. This doesn't mean she has to make allot of money. Making it in the real world is the most appealing a woman can be.

Looking cute is a bonus, but then, this is fleeting at best. Cute is looking into your eyes at 75, and still seeing the woman you fell in love with many years ago, still the same, but now even better with age.

I like someone who isn't in the least bit afraid to try new things or go new places. New places isn't the latest Macy's. OK, I'd go in an instant to Ikea. Otherwise, new places are somewhere off the beaten path I've yet to find, and would really like to enjoy with someone new.

Things I still want to do.

Hike the hills around Lantau Island,China, never find the time when I'm there. Go to Ireland and Scotland, Hike Angel Falls in South America and anyplace else that will allow me in their country. ;)

I like Gallery Openings, Restaurants, The Loop, Grand, Movies, Music of almost any kind, Trivia, and Graffiti writers. I also play my drums every day. The Platinum Record on the wall I got from Duran Duran Duran for Seven and the Ragged Tiger. Best part about them, they're electronic, so they make no noise. Yeah, 4 am Jams with Headphones. ;)

I like any kind of food but Fast, love Asian, Chinese (Dim Sum), Japanese (Sashimi), Thai, Vietnamese, Turkish, Middle Eastern, European, etc. I also cook, my friends say I should have been a chef.

My Friends I've had for 10 to 20 years. Artists, Painters, Writers, Illustrators, Sculptors, Musicians and Designers, some in STL, rest around the world, and from varied cultures.

See the sites, unusual restaurant or? Bars are NOT OK, rather someplace unusual, or with a 50's blues band or swing or? I like to go to the Ritz Carlton every month for Pennsylvania Slim, and some of the guys I've known for 20 years. I like to also wear the latest, cool, mindless, trendy clothes, that no one over 30 should go near. p) Halloween isn't just for the end of October. ;)

Even an alternative rock club can be fun. Not Looking to make the person I meet for the first time feel confined or uneasy, so Lunch, Diner or anything you're comfortable with is fine with me, you can even bring a friend. I read a few of the men's posts, and boy, are there some real trolls out there. I wonder if anyone actually responds to half of those ads.
