I am a Taurus through and through---pretty stubborn, steadfast, practical and very slow to change BUT also extremely loyal, affectionate, faithful, patient and reliable. I am an Occupational Therapist by trade~~a caregiver and nurturer by nature. It's a gift to be thoughtfully cared for and respectfully appreciated in return. As far as fulfilling relationships go, I feel I need and deserve a PARTNER.

*What am I looking for in a man?? Interesting question, tough to answer....
If we all say what (we think) we want and then get it, how will we know if we actually got what we really NEEDED?? We may have underestimated ourselves. We may have missed some pleasant surprises along the way. That would be kinda sad.

I am originally from Buffalo(NY) but I've been 'south' since 1995.
I enjoy travel (love Vegas, Hawaii, the Caribbean...) though not as often as I'd like. I look forward to someday traveling to Europe with Italy being atop my wishlist! A few of my guilty pleasures include wine, martinis/cosmos, good food...OR bad food w/ really great company, even just relaxing with some friends. While I'm often drinking entirely too much diet coke you may also find me sipping Starbucks or a glass of red wine. I might be sitting by the lake simply reading a mag or chick-lit book on a patio somewhere or enjoying the mind's challenge of completing a good crossword puzzle, in PEN :) I dabble at sudoku and, believe it or not, I LOVE POKER (esp Texas Hold'em)! You might even catch me driving around town topless on a nice day (umm, yeah...as in convertible). I enjoy cooking to entertain but I'll rarely cook for myself. I have NO qualms about being seen alone 'in public'. I'm just finally back to a place where I'm ready to be alone TOGETHER.

It has been said that I'm witty, humorous, intelligent, sexy, compassionate, interesting and fun...an independent woman who is easy to talk to and who keeps good company with stimulating, interactive conversation. I do enjoy simple luxuries but I can also gear up for hours of Sunday football or a good hockey game (Go Buffalo!!). Dress me up or dress me down, my style is more classic than trendy. I'd say I'm pretty low maintenance for a woman at the lake but I guess it all just really depends on your perspective. Sooo, you'd have to decide for yourself...
