About Me
I am just an average dude. The trouble is, there are so many components to personality, that average has the appearance of awkward, or boring. I go to work in the morning, come home in the afternoon. I go to Church on most Sundays. I am in search of that special someone who can chase away the lone wolf that has been stalking me.
I find it frustrating to see girls dating "players," and hearing many express similar complaints. Girls say they are tired of guys acting immaturely, as though they are still in high school. Then, because of the behavior of other guys, when I express intimate desires, thoughts, goals, and vexation toward childish behavior, my sincerity is questioned.
I do have a sense of humor, but I do not act silly. I have held a solid job all my life. I have been in the Navy. I have been in law enforcement. I have worked at a local plant for the previous 6 years, where I expect to remain. I am very analytical, cautious, and I find comfort in predictability. I believe learning from one's experiences is a good thing, but discernment is a lot less painful.
I am very straight forward, but I will go out of my way not to upset anyone. I am very conscientious of other people's feelings. I do not care for clubs anymore, I grew out of that about the time I got out of the Navy. I play golf, watch sports, read, love pets and children.
All of that is the detailed version of who I am and what I am seeking, but here is a to the point summation: I am a hardworking Christian with a good heart, and I am looking for someone to share it with. I am not searching for someone to make me happy- I am searching for someone with whom I shall be happy.
First Date
The first date needs to be simple, no surprises. Starting in the early afternoon with a stroll, or maybe a coffee house. Get to know one another with the nonverbal (or typed) communication. You know, the eye contact, holding hands, do you lean on my shoulder, or do you maintain a distance. These things say much more than words- this is where the infamous "do we click" issue is settled. Then, since I KNOW we are going to click, a simple dinner, and perhaps a movie, small concert, or some special event that happens to be in town.
