What I do; I am a Realtor but have an eclectic background that includes owning a bookkeeping business and a furniture store, teaching computer courses and job skill techniques. I’m fortunate as my real estate career allows me to keep working for a long time and I will because I love my job and I get to meet and help a variety of people.

Who am I: I guess I’m a bit of the strong silent type but I can be extremely verbal and entertaining when the occasion arises. I’ve always been a big guy and unfortunately some people are intimidated by my size and demeanour but I am extremely sensitive and aware of my environment and the people in it.

I am very independent and self reliant and am attracted to others with the same trait. I’m not a hanger on nor do I want a hanger on in my life. As its been twenty-eight years since I’ve dated I’m looking forward to the experience of getting to know other people and having them in my life. I intent on fully engaging my “senior” years … I can’t believe I said that but I did become a senior this year. However my attitude is youthful and positive. I’d very much like to meet someone who can appreciate my quick wit and dry humour.

I'm a reader who currently is into personal growth and spiritual writings. I recently re-read The Secret and listen to the Cd's and read Ester Hicks books on the Law of Attraction. Thought Eckhart Tolle's New Earth was outstanding. At other times I like adventure fiction that has a historical bent particularly the area covering and between the two world wars.

Its hardly admitted on POF but I have several TV shows I like and yes I even watch some reality shows. I love watching how people “do life”.

As for family I have one son who has been teaching English in Taiwan for eight years a three year old grandson and a daughter-in-law who I am dying to meet. Hopefully they will be back in Canada next year.
