I am just looking to meet new people and gain new friends. I am really open-minded. I don't like being weighed down by social expectations. Its wonderful to just be what you are and let the chips fall where they may. I am up for anything so don't be shy. I will try lots of new things. I try to always experience new foods, cultures, ideas, and live a full life. Im definitely athletic (was a collegiate athlete) and outgoing. Im not very picky, I dont have a specific type so please dont ever think you arent my type because you are too short or too tall or have purple or no hair. None of that matters. Someone worth talking to will be worth talking to regardless of what they look like or where they are from. I love anything involving being outdoors. I love walking through the woods and seeing beautiful things. Im afraid of heights but I will attempt to climb stuff at someone else's request. I really like running. It is very satisfying for me to do. But also really enjoy reading and other intellectually stimulating activites such as (I know its great) board games, painting pottery and watching movies at home. Im also really in reading/writing poetry (I am an English major) and love almost any music I can get my hands on. Last but not least, I am somewhat of a jock when it comes to my knowledge of sports. When comes to football, baseball, and basketball I do care and pay attention. I do watch games and know a lot about sports. But just enough and not too much.

My first date, would probably depend on what my date was into and liked to do. I really like long walks and talks to get to know people though. My preference I would say, picnic and something fun outdoors followed by a quiet dinner and movie at home on the couch. Going to the zoo or a museum would be hard to turn down though...

One last thing which has come to my attention as somewhat of an odd feature to POF. The testimonial portion of a person's profile seems really really out of whack. If someone really has something great to say about you (I am assuming that's what having a testimonial is for) wouldn't you think they would have like scooped you up off the market?? I mean, who is going to write......."Wow, Joe was such a gentleman. He is an amazing person. Passionate, thoughtful, a great kisser, and amazing in bed. I wish he hadn't dumped me after our first date. But I recommend him to anyone on the site........" haha
